This information is for High School All-Region members. Mr. Garduno sent a lot of information yesterday with information for Middle School students.
Friday, November 30th
We will depart by bus from GPFAA at 10AM to get an early lunch before we head to Nimitz High School. Students need to bring a lunch or money to buy lunch. Dress code for Friday is normal school attire. You may wear your red or black orchestra shirts if you'd like. Rehearsal at Nimitz is from noon until 6PM. Several breaks are provided throughout the afternoon. We will be back at school around 6:15PM.
Saturday, December 1st
The bus will depart from GPFAA at 7:30AM. If you miss the bus, get yourself to Nimitz by 8:20AM. Rehearsal starts at 8:30AM. THE BUS WILL NOT BRING STUDENTS BACK TO GPFAA AS PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AT THE CONCERT. Make sure you bring your concert uniform with you. I strongly recommend that you find some time to change into your concert attire during the lunch break. The lunch break is from 11:30 - 12:55 for everyone. Parents...you may pick up your child and take them to lunch if you'd like. There will be a concession stand at Nimitz selling pizza in case your child has to eat lunch there. You may also bring a lunch. The concert will start at 4:00PM at Nimitz High School. See you there!
