Upcoming High School Orchestra Events

May 15, 2019  - After School Rehearsal, 3:30PM - 5:00PM

Because I value my students’ time, I do not call many after school rehearsals BUT this one if very important.  We are collaborating with drummers, pianists, vocalists and trying to combine both high school orchestras.  We will need the extra time before the dress rehearsal.  Please make arrangements for rides and work schedules. 

May 16, 2019 - Grand Prairie Police Department Memorial - 5:00PM

The GPFAA Orchestra will have a quartet playing at the GPPD Memorial.  

May 18th, 2019 - Dress Rehearsal and Performance Day

Dress Rehearsal:

1:00 Beginning Orchestra

1:30 Combined MS Concert/Chamber Orchestras

2:00 Combined HS & MS Chamber Orchestras

2:30 Combined HS Concert/Chamber Orchestras

(With Piano, Guitar, Vocalist and Drums) 

ALL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND DRESS REHEARSAL IN PERFORMANCE ATTIRE!!! THERE WILL BE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER COLLECTING PERFORMANCE SHOTS OF ALL OF OUR GROUPS.

Performance: 

6:00 Call Time for all musicians

6:30 Open Auditorium 

7:00 Show Time

May 19, 2019 - High School Pool Party - 2:00PM - 6:00PM

The end of the year pool party/social will be at Mr. Galvan’s House.  The Orchestra Guild will be providing all food and drinks.  Just bring a towel and sunscreen.
